Refunds Policy for Accommodation Reservations

Each accommodation establishment stipulates their own payment and cancellation policy which will be clearly indicated on their web pages. In the event of no clear policy being supplied by the accommodation establishment then the following guidelines will apply:

Deposit and Cancellation Policy:
A 50% non-refundable deposit is payable by the guest on confirmation of the reservation and the balance is payable to the host establishment on arrival by the guest.
Deposits paid into the account of A. Conolly trading as Dead Duck Graphix and StayHere.co.za on behalf of accommodation establishments will be disposed of as follows:
A 16% non-refundable commission of the total value of the accommodation reserved will be deducted from the deposit received and the balance will be paid into the bank account of the accommodation establishment, where the reservation was made; provided there are no other outstanding funds owing by the accommodation establishment to A. Conolly; in which case, said outstanding funds may be deducted from the deposit until the said amount has been paid in full.
All cancellation refunds are made at the sole discretion of the accommodation establishment and refund requests should be directed in writing to the accommodation establishment concerned.

Payment Options

All transactions will be processed in South African Rands (ZAR). We accept credit card payments via the web site and on request will supply our banking details should you wish to make payment via EFT or Direct Deposit. (provide a link with bank details)

VAT (Value Added Tax)

Tariffs and prices on this site may be subject to VAT at 14%. Please check with the establishment concerned.

Security Policy
