Montagu is situated on the historic Route 62 and is midway between Cape Town and the Garden Route and is an ideal base for three or four days to experience the Robertson Wine Valley, De Hoop Nature Reserve, numerous picturesque and historical villages, great restaurants, hikes and leisurely walks, Bird watching, Golf and mountain - rock climbing, boat rides and tractor trips
