Description : Albarosa Guest House is located in the heart of the historic town of Stellenbosch.
The original building dates back to 1946, and was owned by Prof. Gerrit Kruger, a lecturer in Theology at Stellenbosch University. In 2007 it was purchased by the current owners to convert into what is now Albarosa Guesthouse. The house was home to a vast collection of books, which inspired the names of the various rooms. The self-catering flat, Stories Cottage, was built during these alterations. This restored Cape-Dutch building has several elegantly furnished and air-conditioned rooms with free wireless internet available.
Relax in the lounge, with its cozy fire place and big range of interesting books, or outside on the patio.
A healthy and hearty breakfast is served in the dining room.
This Stellenbosch accommodation offers secure parking and being in the centre of town, it is the perfect starting point for exploration, best done by foot..
