Robertson is situated south-east of Worcester on the road to Swellendam. Robertson is the centre of the irrigates region of the Breede River Valley, famous for its fruit and wine farms, notably muscatel. Along with the jacarandas, oaks and ash trees more than 6000 rose bushes line the streets offering typical decoration to the many well-preserved Victorian style buildings. Robertson is situated amidst spectacular scenery and is a popular starting point for climbs into the Langeberg range, especially to Dassieshoek and He Hoop, where the beautiful flora nerine can be seen in its natural habitat.

Want to get away from it all? Well look no further - Almondbury Guest Farm offers you a relaxing getaway and is situated just 6km outside the town of Robertson; an attractive town with its quaint buildings with roses and Jacaranda lined streets.
Country comfort in the shadow of the majestic Langeberg Mountains. Scenic surroundings and cozy accommodation in a historic Victorian guest house close to nature. The Lodge overlooks a vineyard opposite the river and views of the surrounding mountains, there is also a dam at the foot of the garden where you can observe a variety of birds and other wild life species.

Accommodation:
You can book the entire Lodge on a self catering basis or you book a double, single or family room with dinner and breakfast options at Almondbury Guest Farm.
The Lodge consists of six bedrooms, five doubles and 1 twin rooms, all double rooms en-suite accommodating in total 16 people sharing; it also has a communal lounge with DSTV Compact, large kitchen, dining area and fireplace - braai area outside.
Breakfast and dining
Meal options include breakfasts, dinners and Sunday lunches (bookings only). We provide braai facilities and picnic hampers.
Weddings
Almondbury Guest Farm offers an intimate setting for small weddings (up to 30 people in house) and up to 80 people outside on the lawn (open air or tent). The packages we offer are tailored for each couple and ranges form an all inclusive package - wedding venue - wedding car - wedding photographer - full catering - wedding cake - accommodation for 10 of your guests (5 double en suite rooms).
The farm is situated at the foot of the Langeberg mountains and overlook a vineyard, the garden is a perfect setting for all your wedding pictures. Almondbury has a relaxed atmosphere and offers the old farm feeling, rustic and basic and we strive to keep all our weddings simple but unique.

ROOM 1: En-suite - bath & toilet - with a double bed and cot - ZAR550 per night (sharing or ZAR280 single)
ROOM 2: En-suite - shower & toilet with a double bed and 2 single beds in loft ZAR650 per night.
ROOM 3: En-suite - shower & toilet - with a double and single bed ZAR450 per night.
ROOM 4: En-suite - shower & toilet - with a double bed ZAR480 per night or ZAR280 single.
ROOM 5 & 6: This is a large room with another leading into it with a separate door between them, this room is also en-suite - shower, bath & toilet with a double bed and single bed in the one room and two single beds and a cot in the other room ZAR700 per night.
Book the entire Lodge on a self catering basis for ZAR2400 per night (sleeps 16 people sharing).
Meals for children under 6 are free and from 6 to 12 half price.

Attractions and Activities:
Another popular service (optional extra) we provide at Almondbury Farm we can take you halfway up the Langeberg Mountain Range in an old classic Nomad Jeep and have sundowners enjoying the most spectacular view of the Breede River Valley.
The location is well situated for easy access to the Breede River Valley and it's delightful offerings. The region is well known for its wines with 44 great wine estates to visit. Outdoor adventures include a 2 day hiking trail, mountain biking, horse riding, riverboat cruises, river rafting, Olive trail, game reserves, art galleries, The Zen Center, The Bird Park, The HedgeMaze, Cactus Garden and nursery and many other recreational facilities.
Hiking trails, cycling, bird watching and waterfalls which are on our doorstep (Dassiekoek Nature Reserve 3km). There is also a 18 hole golf course +- 6km from the farm Silwerstrand Golf Course and of course, the numerous wine estates on Route 62 and Robertson Wine Valley attracts many people to this area.
There are many diverse attractions, from a lazy river cruise to a vigorous mountain hike, elegant wining and dining to outdoor picnics and exploring our rich historical sites. The local farm stalls overflow with fresh produce, dried fruit and freshly made breads, homemade jams and preserves.

Facilities:
Our swimming facilities are ideal for the adventurer, both cement dams are rather deep but great for swimming in the warm summer days. We do not recommended children to swim without the supervision of parents. Wi Fi facilities available for guests staying at the lodge at no cost.

Airport Transfers:
We operate from Robertson approximately 160km from the airport and offers a personalized road transport service. we get you to your place of accommodation from the airport or pick you up to be delivered in style back to the airport.
The 1964 Holden Special is something unique, a great way to introduced to the beautiful Cape or to end your trip on a high note. Together with the transfer we offer a snack basket with some wine to be enjoyed at a selected place on route. Traveling time is a little over 2 hours between Robertson and Cape Town International Airport.

Directions: From Cape Town take the N1 National Road to Paarl, and continue past Paarl, through the Dutoitskloof tunnel and on towards Worcester. When you reach Worcester, turn off the N1 and drive through the town, following the signs to Robertson along the R60. Enter Robertson, drive until you find the only traffic circle and then turn left, travel straight on that road for 7.6km and find Almondbury Guest Farm on your right.
