Named after the wild geese in the area, Gansbaai is a quaint fishing village from where there are sweeping views of this rugged stretch of coast. Each year during the summer holiday season people from up-country flock to nearby villages from Franskraal to Pearly Beach as well as the holiday resort at Uilenskraalmond in order to enjoy the fine weather and wide open beaches where various activities take place, including angling, boating and safe bathing in the lagoon.

Payment Policy:
A 50% non-refundable deposit is payable on confirmation of the reservation and the balance is payable on arrival.

Directions on How to Get There From the Cape Town International Airport, follow the N2 over Sir Lowry's Pass. Exit onto the R43 and continue past Hermanus and Stanford. Seventeen km from Stanford turn into De Kelders Guthrie Street- first house on the right going down towards the ocean. From Swellendam and the Garden Route, continue on the N2 till 10 km past Riviersonderend. Turn left on the Hermanus/Stanford road. Continue for about 40 km. At the T- junction at Stanford turn left towards Gansbaai. Seventeen km further turn right into De Kelders - Guthrie Street - first house on the right going down towards the ocean.
