The pounding of the seas on the rocky coast gave Onrus (restless) its name. The little resort lies at the mouth of the Onrus River where the lagoon, sandy beach, natural bathing pool in the rocks and fishing are the attractions.
Description : Private home in the sleepy town of Onrus River, known as a refuge for writers and artists.
Come and enjoy a peaceful stay in tranquil surroundings and breathe in our champagne air. Have a barbecue in the secluded back garden, stroll to one of our lovely local restaurants, take a drive into Hermanus, the whale-watching capital of the world, or go for a wine tasting in the beautiful Hemel & Aarde Valley. June to September is whale-watching season. In August we have the Afrikaans Kalfiefees and in September our very popular Whale Festival.

Directions on How to Get There
Take the Onrus River/Vermont turn-off at the Onrus Trading Post. Take first turn to the left into Main Road (Hoofweg), first right into Radyn Street and second right into Chiappini Street. Third house on your right is where it's at!
Attractions and Activities: Walking distance to local restaurants and shopping centre. Beautiful cliff paths. Whale watching from June to September.
