In False Bay, Strand used to be the seaside suburb of Somerset West and was first named Somerset Strand. Strand is today a modern town with good shopping facilities and a healthy industrial sector. Popular as a holiday destination the population swells considerably during the December holiday season. The large attraction is the warm sea and superb three-kilometre stretch of bathing beach in Milk Bay, which is said to be the safest swimming area in South Africa.

Description : Capeview is situated in a residential security estate (Greenways)in the Strand (Helderburg area),only a 25 minute drive from Cape Town International Airport,along the N2. This beautiful apartment,with a view across False Bay towards Cape Point and Table Mountain offer the highest standard of comfort and luxury.

Accommodation:
Room description: The bedroom has 2 single beds, also made-up as king size, (sleeps two) fan radio and beautiful sea-views. The en-suite large bathroom has 2 hand basins, bath and shower. There is a separate lounge/dining room with fan and DStv. The kitchenette is fully equipped with hot plate, microwave oven and fridge, that leads to a balcony with sun-beds to enjoy the sun and views.

Facilities:
Capeview is a perfect base to explore Cape Town (45km), historic Stellenbosch (20km), Hermanus, Helderberg Nature Reserve, Winelands, shopping malls and golf courses. In the Greenways Estate, we have an excellent 24 hour security system in place. Golf enthusiasts can enjoy a 9 hole mashi- course with club facilities and restaurant. There are also 2 tennis courts, a swimming pool and walkways along the beachfront.

Payment Policy:
A 50% non-refundable deposit is payable on confirmation of the reservation and the balance is payable on arrival.

Attractions:
The long beaches of False Bay are excellent for swimming, sun bathing and popular with water-sports enthusiasts. Both Strand and Gordon's Bay main beaches are lined with café's, restaurants and shops. For the best surfing experience Kogel Bay beach is a must. The Strand also boasts a Olympic size indoor swimming pool. Whale watching is possible between June and December each year when Southern Right whales visit False Bay.

Directions:
From Cape Town International Airport take the left turn-off for Somerset West(N2)towards Somerset West/Strand. Turn off for R44 and turn right towards Strand and again right before golf course for Beach Rd. Follow Beach Rd towards end with Greenways Estate on the right. Capeview is situated at 104 St Andrews.
