If you take the road that turns off from the national road opposite the Noetzie turnoff, signposted "Uniondale", you will reach the main forest. The same road continues over Prince Alfred's Pass to Avontuur, a town in the Long Kloof.
Description :The farm Voogsekraal is situated on the stunningly beautiful Prince Alfred Pass 11 km south of Avontuur in the Langkloof (long valley) and 60 km north of both Knysna and Plettenberg Bay.
The cottage is tucked into the side of the mountain with panoramic views of the awe-inspiring surroundings. It has two bedrooms which can sleep up to six people, down duvets and cotton linen, and fully equipped open-planned kitchen/dining room, and lounge.
It is on a working organic cheese farm. Guests are welcome to watch or partake in the daily activities of the farm. The lifestyle is simple, comfortable and cosy, no television; oil lamps for lighting, hot water and fires to keep the cottage warm in winter.

There are several beautiful rock pools to swim in and waterfalls to inspire you. Freedom to roam the 800 Ha of fynbos covered mountains and to enjoy the indigenous forest river walks.
