Robertson is situated south-east of Worcester on the road to Swellendam. Robertson is the centre of the irrigates region of the Breede River Valley, famous for its fruit and wine farms, notably muscatel. Along with the jacarandas, oaks and ash trees more than 6000 rose bushes line the streets offering typical decoration to the many well-preserved Victorian style buildings. Robertson is situated amidst spectacular scenery and is a popular starting point for climbs into the Langeberg range, especially to Dassieshoek and He Hoop, where the beautiful flora nerine can be seen in its natural habitat.

Description: DE HOOP COTTAGES - Come and have a rest on our farm, enjoy breathtaking views of the mountain, take a hike, swim in the farm dam, do some birdwatching, watch the stars and full moon and explore the surroundings. Just the right recipe for recovering from a hectic life!

Cottage Description: We offer:
Four fully equipped self-catering cottages with neat bathrooms, indoor and outdoor braai facilities and wooden decks.
"Adam se huis" and "Swink se huis" sleeps two persons each
"Ampie se huis" and " July se huis" sleeps four persons each

Facilities:
The cottages are nestled in the Langeberg mountains 10 km outside Robertson (nearest shops) and approx. 120 km from Cape Town.

Seasons:
Low Season: 1 May to: 31 August
High Season: 1 September to: 30 April

Tariff: Tariff in South African Rands (ZAR)
ZAR150 per person per night from September to April.
ZAR130 per person per night at all other times.
Minimum booking ZAR350
Children under 12 years old ZAR100 per night

Pets: We do allow small pets
Smoking is allowed in units.

Attractions and Activities:
Fresh water fishing in Farm dams.
Hiking on Farm and in Mountains for free.
Swimming in Farm dams and mountain pools.

Directions:
On Route 62 as you exit Robertson. Find a circle and turn left. After 1 km take the first tar road to the right named De Hoop. Follow this road for 9.5 km to find Laaiplaas.

Payment Policy:
A 50% non-refundable deposit is payable on confirmation of the reservation and the balance is payable on arrival.
