Principal town of the fruit- and wine-producing Breede River valley, Worcester was founded in 1820 and named after the Marquis of Worcester, elder brother of the governor, Lord Charles Somerset. It lies at the entrance to the Hex River Mountain Pass, 244 metres above sea level. The surrounding mountains rise to 1600 metres above the floor of the valley, providing a background of unusual beauty.
Description : Situated in the picturesque Nuy Valley, and overlooked by the majestic Langeberg mountains, right in the heart of olive country. The old wine cellar on the farm dates back to 1905. It has recently been renovated to make room for two luxuriously furnished apartments, fully equipped, which offers upmarket accommodation. Visiting our olive cellar, is a worthwhile experience, as the Willow Creek brand name has become a respected supplier of excellent olive oil and associated products. Situated just off the R60 between Worcester and Robertson, the area offers scenic drives, 4 x 4 routes, wine tasting at a numerous amount of wine cellars and estates, water sports, and many more.

Room Description: The old wine cellar has recently been renovated to make room for two luxuriously furnished apartments, fully equipped kitchen, spacious living room, full bathroom. Each apartment is laid out as follows: The main bedroom features a king-size four post double bed, while the second room has been furnished with two beds - 4 persons per apartment (can supply extra mattresses for children by prior arrangement). Fans, heaters, fire place and braai facilities are available. The apartments are next to each other and can be combined if needed. The cellar has a huge 'stoep' underneath pergola with benches and umbrellas.
Facilities:
The surrounds offer a vast range of outdoor activities, which include mountain biking, hiking, paddling, strolling in the olive groves, wine touring, 4X4 and many more. Enjoy a sun downer whilst watching the rich bird life on the huge 25 ha dam as the sun sets over the magnificent mountains to the west.

Directions from Worcester: Follow the R60 towards Robertson for 13km. Take the Nuy turn-off to the left. Cross the railroad and follow the tar road for 3.3km. De Wilge is on your left.
