Robertson is situated south-east of Worcester on the road to Swellendam. Robertson is the centre of the irrigates region of the Breede River Valley, famous for its fruit and wine farms, notably muscatel. Along with the jacarandas, oaks and ash trees more than 6000 rose bushes line the streets offering typical decoration to the many well-preserved Victorian style buildings. Robertson is situated amidst spectacular scenery and is a popular starting point for climbs into the Langeberg range, especially to Dassieshoek and He Hoop, where the beautiful flora nerine can be seen in its natural habitat.
Description : "Die Poort" cottage is situated alongside the Breede River, approximately 5.5 km from Robertson on the Silverstrand road. The cottage sleeps eight people and is an ideal getaway from the hustle and bustle of city life.
All cottages are fully equipped. The accommodation is very comfortable and offers you, open plan kitchen / living room area, inside and outside braai facilities, TVs. The farm is situated near to the golf course, holiday resort and the town of Robertson.
- A very good social choice -
We also have two by four bed units, a bachelor unit and one six bed unit, catering for groups of people. These units are situated three and a half kilometers outside of town and are surrounded by vineyards and orchards of plum trees. There are braai facilities at the river as well as a slip way for water toys.
We invite you to bring along water toys, golf clubs, fishing tackle, walking boots and enough fire wood for an excellent time on the farm.
Tariff: Rates per cottage vary from R200.00 to R400.00 per night.

Directions on How to Get There
From Cape Town take the N1 to Worcester. At Worcester take the R317 to Robertson. Just before entering Robertson turn right at the 'Silwerstrand' sign which is opposite the farm stall. Cross the railway line. Our signboard is approximately 100 metres beyond the train crossing, on the right.
