The picturesque town of Hermanus lies between the Kleinrivierberge and the sea and stretches for six kilometres along the north shore of Walker Bay. Celebrated for its coastal beauty, wild flowers, angling, fine beaches and whales, Hermanus is one of the premier holiday resorts of the country. The holiday season which used to range through spring and summer to autumn - September to May - has in modern times increased to make the resort popular all year round.

Jan and Sanmarie are the host's of Harbour Vue, a four star architect design double storey guesthouse. Uniquely located with magnificent sea views overlooking the Atlantic ocean where the Whales play in the bay from July to November and sometimes even longer. Many people visit Hermanus to view these creatures from the best land based whale watching destination in the world. Situated only 50 meters from famous cliff path that meander 10km from the harbour in the west, past town to the beaches in the east. The harbour is within walking distance from the guesthouse and has two excellent restaurants to offer. The centre of town is within walking distance of 1.2km. The cliff path with Fynbos and next to the ocean makes the walking experience most enjoyable. The rooms are all en suite, spacious with king size or twin beds. The rooms are all equipped with tea/coffee facilities, safes, TC and balconies with sea or garden views.

Directions on How to Get There
From Cape town, drive to centre, turn right at Shell Gas station. Right in Marine Drive which becomes Westcliff Road to the West. We are situated close to New Harbour 84 Westcliff Road.
