Impangele lies near the base of the Langeberg mountain range. This guest house is well equipped
to cater for every traveler's needs, and has been adapted to provide maximum ease and comfort for any disabled visitors. It offers superb accommodation, furnished in tasteful contemporary African style, with stunning wood floors and original artworks, and boasts a peaceful indigenous garden, with mountain views. There is a glorious sun deck where you can drink your sun downers in the evening, gazing over the valley, and a superb guest lounge with a roaring log fire for cooler evenings. A relaxed and easy going atmosphere prevails here - David will cook his great breakfast platter for you at the time of your choosing and there are always plenty of extra treats in store!

Impangele can accommodate up to eight guests in three double bedrooms Room 1: The Leopard Room: This spacious room has a queen sized bed, with an en-suite shower room, with his and hers leopard print bathrobes! It has a kettle and an assortment of teas / rooibos/ chocolate and fresh coffee, along with home baked goodies. There is plenty of room for extra beds, the room can accommodate two adults and two children. The room has TV, a clock radio, safe, and overlooks the attractive front stoep and garden. Room 2: The Zebra Room: This spacious room has a queen sized bed, and it is a quirky and fun room. As we were unable to find zebra bathrobes, guests will be pleased to learn that we have provided black and white shower caps as a substitute! It has a kettle and an assortment of teas / rooibos/ chocolate and fresh coffee, along with home baked goodies. It has a TV, Clock radio and views over the valley. The room has been adapted to make life as easy as possible for any guests with disabilities. There is wide access on each side of the bed to facilitate wheelchair use, electrical switches within easy reach, and an en-suite roll in shower. The stark black and white contrasts in the room, high density lighting and large TV, are designed to support guests with visual impairment. Directions on How to Get There
From Swellendam main street, Voortrek St, Andrew Whyte Street is opposite OK grocers, and is sign posted Marloth Mountain Reserve. Impangele is 550m up the road on the right hand side.

Swellendam is the third oldest town in South Africa and has many beautiful historic buildings. It is ideal as a base to visit the following attractions: Marloth Mountain Nature Reserve
Hikes of varying length and difficulty - from 2 hours to 6 days! The flower route is fabulous in March and April. You can join the mountain trail two minutes walk away from Impangele! De Hoop Nature Reserve
An ideal day trip to see zebra, bontebok and other antelope and animals. Also offers good bathing opportunities in natural tidal pools and whale watching. Drostdy Museum
Open-air museum complex with several historical buildings, and a great coffee shop! Bontebok National Park
See the bontebok, other antelope, Cape-Mountain Zebra, a variety of birds, etc. we will provide you with a picnic and you can spend a day walking along the banks of the Breede River - and go for a swim. Breede River Wine Route
