Fish Hoek is on the electric railway to Simon's Town, is 29 kilometres from Cape Town and claims the uniqueness of being the only teetotal town in the Republic. Under the original title deed granted by Lord Charles Somerset to Andries Bruins in 1818, Fish Hoek was to have no 'public winehouse' and the ban is still maintained; there are no licensed hotels or bottle stores within the municipal boundaries of Fish Hoek. Fish Hoek has a safe bathing beach, extremely popular in the summer, and is noted for good catches in net fishing.

Accommodation: Upstairs are three comfortable bedrooms, main bedroom en-suite (shower, toilet & basis). Downstairs is a spacious lounge and dining room, TV and DVD. Fully equipped kitchen with microwave, stove, fridge, kettle, toaster, cutlery, crockery, pots and pans. All linen, bath, hand and beach towels supplied. Linen exchanged once a week.

Spacious three Bedroomed apartment has main bedroom with en-suite facilities(shower, basin and toilet) with choice of King size or 2 x single beds; second bedroom has choice of King size or 2 x single beds and 2 x single beds in the third bedroom. Family bathroom with separate toilet.

Facilities:
All linen, bath, hand and beach towels are supplied and exchanged weekly.
There is a TV (SABC & E-TV), CD/DVD in the lounge.
The kitchen has a Microwave Oven, Stove, Fridge/Freezer, Cutlery, Crockery, Pots and Pans.
Safe off-road undercover parking is available.

Directions on How to Get There
From Paarl N1 to Cape Town: Travel along N1 until the M5 South Muizenberg turn off, about 10 km
from Cape Town. Take M5 South Muizenberg off ramp. Continue on the M5 until the N2 Cape Town
turn off. Take N2 in the direction of Cape Town.
From N2 to Cape Town: Take the M3 Rhodes Drive/Kirstenbosch Gardens/Muizenberg turn off.
Continue on M3 until end of the M3, approximately 16km. Take M42 Steenberg/Muizenberg turn off
to left (end of M3 at T-junction).
Travel along M4 through Lakeside, Muizenberg, Kalk Bay and Clovelly to Fish Hoek,
Shortly after Clovelly Road you will notice the Fish Hoek Police Station on the right. Coniston Court is just after the Police Station and before the Full Gospel Church, opposite the Mad Milkman and The Paddling Centre.
