Nestling at the foot of the Soetmuisberg and surrounded by rolling wheat and barley fields lies the little town of Napier. Founded in 1838 and named after Sir George Napier, who was governor of the Cape at the time, this village of old world charm has tranquil appeal. In times gone by, Napier's main craftsmen were blacksmiths tending to the many carts of the district. These days the village celebrates its past with an annual Horse and Cart Festival.

Within an hours drive of the beaches, Napier is in the heart of the Overberg and is ideal for exploring the region.
Directions:
Travel through Napier and turn right into Almond Street (between the farm stall and the Voortrekker Monument) At the end of Almond Street the road turns to the right. Carry on until you reach the intersection of Plein Street. Turn left. Drive passed the school on your right onto a gravel road for about 200 metres. We are on the left.
