Knysna is built on the banks of the Knysna Lagoon, a landlocked estuary fed by the Knysna River and connected with the sea between two great sandstone cliffs, the Knysna Heads. It is a fascinating town and the area in which it is sited is one of the lovely places on earth. The town is famous for its stinkwood, the most prized and beautiful South African indigenous wood.

Description : Fully equipped self-catering guest suite in quiet suburb of Knysna overlooking the Knysna River and rolling hills of indigenous forest.
The Orange Lion has been designed with our guests' comfort and space in mind. The separate entrance ensures guests' privacy at all times. The one-suite studio suite has a comfortable double bed which can be made up as twin beds. The balcony overlooks the Knysna River valley with its fantastic sunrises.
The built-in kitchen comes with 2-plate stove, fridge with freezer compartment, pots, pans, kettle, toaster, and cutlery and crockery for 4 people. Breakfast baskets are available at additional cost.
The spacious bathroom has a large rain-shower as well as a separate bath.

Attractions and Activities:
Golf, ocean, beach, forest. A variety of outdoor activities are available.
Also, Elephant park, monkeyland, cango caves, ostriches can be visited from the Orange Lion.

Directions: On the N2 with the lagoon on your right and approximately 500 meters before the 1st robots in Knysna take the turn off left into Old Cape Road (also towards Simola Hotel). Follow that road for 2 km, cross the Salt River Bridge and turn right into Sandelwood Drive. Then, after 100 meters, take the 1st road right again (Kia Apple Close), keep right into Bosvlier Close and you'll find the Orange Lion in the 2nd house on your left on a panhandle driveway of 50 meters.

Payment Policy:
A 50% non-refundable deposit is payable on confirmation of the reservation and the balance is payable on arrival.
