Description : Patryskraal Farm Cottage offers self-catering comfort and homliness in the countryside. Situated about 17km out of town this spacious, open plan cottage is warm and informal with a large indoor fireplace which doubles as a braai. There is a television.
The cottage is fully equipped for self-catering; or you could opt for Heidi's delicious farm breakfast or a home cooked meal for dinner. Braai packs are also provided by arrangement. Wood provided for one braai is also available for sale.
Accommodation :There is a double bed in a niche and two benches with good quality mattresses in the living area which convert to single beds. The bathroom has a bath and shower.
Facilities : Tea, coffee, milk and delicious farm baked goodies such as rusks and biscuits are provided as part of your stay.

Tariff :
ZAR160 per person for the first two people.
ZAR100 per person for the third and fourth persons.

Directions on How to Get There
From Bredasdorp, take route R319 towards Swellendam. Turn right at the De Hoop / Malgas turn-off which is approximately 6km out of town. Travel for 10.5km to Patryskraal which is situated on the lefy side of the road. Please park at the cottage which is situated behind the main house.
Activities and Attractions
Visit the farm next door and enjoy a light meal or a piece of cake and coffee in the tea garden.
Take a drive with your host Kobus on this working farm and see the Merino Stud and the magnificent Nguni cattle.
Kobus' wife, Heidi, runs a very enterprising down plucking business - She has her own flock of geese and also visits neibouring farms to pluck their goose down which is then supplied to factories for the manufacture of duvets, pillows, slippers and many more cosy items.
