The Portuguese navigators named this Bahia Formosa, and it certainly is a beautiful bay. The deep inlet, protected by Cape Seal (the western peninsula better known by its Afrikaans name, Robberg) has the magnificent backdrop of the converging Outeniqua and Tsitsikamma Mountains. Its three sheltered beaches, streching over eleven kilometres, provide the main attraction for summer holidays, when the influx of people increases the population three fold.
Description : Set in 15 acres of lush vegetation,Piesang Valley Lodge is close to the beaches{1.5 km away}, the town centre,the famous Robberg Nature Reserve and borders on the Plett Country Club and Golf course.
Our 6 comfortable suites each with there own private balcony offer breathtaking views across the valley and onto the Indian Ocean.

Directions on How to Get There
Travelling on the N2 from Knysna, you take the first turnoff to Plettenberg Bay, the Piesang Valley Road on your right, we are 1.3km down the road on the right. Travelling on the N2 from Port Elizabeth you take the third turnoff to Plett the Piesang Valley Road on your left, we are 1.3km down the road on your right.
