Accommodation :
River Cottage is a cosy cottage which can comfortably sleep four (there is a double bed in
bedroom and 2 singles in lounge). The cottage is nestled in the
Hermitage Valley adjoining our youngberry farm, Wildebraam Berry Estate,
3km from Swellendam town central.
Privately situated and comfortably equipped and furnished with all
bedding and towels provided. The bathroom has a shower/toilet. Snuggle up to
the inside fireplace in winter or enjoy a braai under a spectacular
starlit sky in summer. Lazy days are guaranteed as you sit under the
avocado tree and listen to the trickling stream and watch the horses at
play in the adjoining paddocks. The Langeberg Mountains provide
spectacular views and you will be sorely tempted to stroll on the farm
among the youngberry fields.
In a nutshell, River Cottage offers peace and tranquility with
breathtaking vistas of the Langeberg Mountains, berry fields and pastures.
We aim to pamper; fresh flowers, tea/coffee and a welcoming liqueur
are some of the little extras we provide to make your stay as special
as possible.
