This resort-village and ocean yacht marina occupies 3 kilometres of private coastline along the eastern shores of Saldanha Bay. It is the most modern deepsea pleasure craft harbour in Africa and one of the safest in the world. There are two breakwaters, floating 'finger jetties' and international standard moorings for two hundred craft. The village is of authentic design, reminiscent of the famed Greek island with colourful urban planning around the harbour and private beach, featuring quaint promenades, cobbled squares and pedestrian alleyways, with self-contained kalivas clustered close to the waterfront. Club Mykonos is connected with Langebaan village by tarred road.
Description : As you enjoy a feast of great food and wine at the renowned Bouzouki restaurant, you'll look out of over a flotilla of yachts, moored at the best-equipped private harbour on the West Coast.
There is no need to worry about the kids, as there is more than enough fun to keep them occupied. Donkey rides are always a favourite.
With a choice of four squash courts, five outdoor pools, indoor heated pool, five tennis courts, gym, beauty salon and casino, there is never a shortage of activities.
There is also the challenge of horse-riding, a superb golf course and the Postberg Nature Reserve close by. Not to mention kilometres of unspoilt West Coast beaches, where, if you a water sports fan, the waters of the Langebaan lagoon offer the perfect conditions for water-skiing, wind/kite surfing, sailing and rubber-ducking or take a Sunset cruise on the smooth gliding catamaran to explore the fabulous Cape West Coast Lagoon, before winding up for the party night ahead.
