From Vredenburg the road to Paternoster passes through wheatlands with strangely shaped outcrops of granite. Paternoster is a picturesque fishing village of white-walled cottages and a lovely white-bleached bay. It has a lobster factory. The village received its name from the survivors of a shipwreck who said the Lord's Prayer (Paternoster) in thanksgiving.
Description : These superbly positioned cottages, situated in the local village overlooking the ocean, offer discerning travellers the ultimate holiday experience. The interiors are stylishly decorated in a collection of soft colours - whites and blues - that blend in with the natural beauty of the area, bringing the colours of the sea into the cottage. Directions on How to Get There from Cape Town International
Take the exit from the parking lot drive towards the N2 Take the N2 Cape Town drive 2km take the Vanguard off ramp, turn right onto Vanguard drive travel about 7 km this road will become the N7 drive about 8 km till you get to the Melkbos strand turn off take this turnoff to the left drive about 10 km till you get to a robot turn right onto the R27 west coast road follow this all the way to the Vredenburg turn off. Then turn left drive 9 km you will arrive in Vredenburg drive straight threw town 15 km you will enter the coastal town of Paternoster. We are the first building on the left after the stop street next to Kardoesie gifts
