Description : Sonvanger, (which is the Afrikaans for 'Suncatcher') is a comfortable self-catering cottage situated in Witsand an easy walk from the beach and Breede River mouth. The self-catering accommodation comprises three double bedrooms accommodating six people.
The fully equipped cottage is open plan. Pillows and duvets are supplied. Please bring your own linen, towels, food and refreshments. There is an indoor braai (barbecue) for your enjoyment as well as a television and decoder (bring your own DSTV card).
Witsand is well known for the excellent angling which takes place on the river and shore line. Once a year the magnificent Southern Right whales enter San Sebastian Bay,to give birth to their young. The spectacle of witnessing these huge creatures frolicking in the water is well worth a visit.
