Hermanus is a very short 120 scenic kilometres from Cape Town and, sandwiched between the magnificent Fernkloof mountain range and the exceptionally beautiful pristine coastline of the beaches of Walker Bay, it is considered to be the ideal base from which to explore the wonders of Cape Town, the Overberg and Overstrand, all the wine routes, the garden route, etc.
As our home is your home-away-from-home, we, Chris and Hete Fourie, pride ourselves for our fresh, clean, stylish, affordable, self-catering accommodation and warm relaxed hospitality as we understand that SELF-CATERING means doing your own thing at your own relaxed pace in your own private space!
Accommodation:
We have, therefore, available TWO SELF-CATERING UNITS: Unit 1 : A luxury unit which comprises the whole ground floor area of the double story main house - sleeps maximum 6. Unit 2 : A family cottage, a cosily-furnished free-standing unit, separate from the main house - sleeps maximum 4 - 5.
Both units are fully-equipped, but please bring your own beach towels.
Braai facilities available. Single night bookings welcome
The luxury unit and cottage can be rented together or separately.

Attractions and Activities:
Within walking distance from the finest beaches in the world i.e. the ever popular Voelklip and Grotto (Blue Flag) beaches and cliff paths offering vantage points for whale watching and fantastic photo opportunities. We are approx. 200 m from the slopes of the Fernkloof mountain range and nature reserve with 60 km of well-maintained hiking and back-packing trails, and 6 min. drive from the busy village centre. Whale watching and sunset eco marine cruises are also available while safe cycling, mountain biking, sea kayaking, scuba diving, snorkeling, all kinds of surfing, rock climbing, para-sailing, abseilling, paragliding, high-gliding, etc. can be done and Hermanus is also a golfer's delight. Close to all the Cape wine- and garden routes.
Directions:
From Cape Town take the R43 towards Hermanus which becomes Main Road. Main Road goes right through Hermanus centre towards Stanford and, after the traffic circle is reached, it becomes Seventh Street. At the crossing of Seventh Avenue and Seventh Street - second house from the corner, on the left nr. 124.
