The landscape setting of the environment of Stellenbosch is surely the most beautiful of all our inland towns and with the preservation of its original planning of oak-lined streets, clear water furrows and classic architecture, the town itself is among the most charming of urban areas of the whole of South Africa. Stellenbosch is surrounded by vineyards and orchards as indeed it is by mountain; the peaks of the Simonsberg rising to 915 and 1390 metres present a particularly spectacular sight.
Description : Welcome to the Yellow Lodge in Stellenbosch! Excellent German hospitality awaits you in our 3-Star Guesthouse (National Grading) .
Located in a maple-lined street in historical Stellenbosch, the Yellow Lodge features eight beautifull comfortable rooms. The attractive Dorp Street and the city centre with its attractions and shops is only a few minutes walk from the house.
The Yellow Lodge is also located on the world-famous Stellenbosch Wine Route with some of Stellenbosch's best wineries and restaurants.
Formerly a pastor's home, our lovingly restored National Heritage building invites you to relax in one of our eight spacious en-suite rooms.
Each room is individually furnished in a tasteful contemporary style, with ample packing space and designer seating, for example chairs from Philipp Starck.
All bathrooms are provided with bath tubs and overhead showers. In the cooler months of the Green Season (Jun-Sep), we have underfloor heating for your comfort.
The Yellow Lodge's garden is an oasis. Several fountains, a small pool and beautifully landscaped, shady areas, where cool beverages or coffee and tea are gladly served, will soothe you at the end of a long day of sightseeing.
Accommodation:
We have six twinbed and two double bed en suite rooms with bath and overhead shower.
Each room has self dial telephone, bar fridge, fan, underfloor heating in the winter months, coffee and tea facilities and television.
Four rooms are situated on the top floor and the other four downstairs of which each has a patio.
Facilities:
Free wifi access, all SABC channels, Mnet, two movie channels and two sport channels.

Payment Policy:
A 50% non-refundable deposit is payable on confirmation of the reservation and the balance is payable on arrival.

Directions on How to Get There
From Cape Town International Airport, you follow the N2 highway in the direction of Somerset West. After about 25km you take the R310 turn off to Stellenbosch.
Follow the R310 to Stellenbosch (another 20km), until you get
to Stellenbosch.
