A Four Star Luxury Guesthouse, B&B and Self-catering Accommodation situated directly above The Hermanus Golf Course and adjacent to Fernkloof Nature Reserve with magnificent and panoramic mountain and sea views. It's only a few minutes to the centre of Hermanus and the best places to watch whales, or to the two main beaches (Grotto Beach & Voelklip Beach).
We offer our guests not only a high standard of comfort, but also a restful environment in a quiet, safe and peaceful area. Our guests are invited to use the lovely garden with a saltwater pool and a barbecue under our covered lapa.
Enjoy nature with the sound of birds and unbelievable views, only metres from the superb golf course and mountain trails. Relax and enjoy our house. You can choose between a large variety of sporting facilities, or go out for whale watching by boat, or try boat-based surface and shark cage viewing.

We book your tee times at all golf courses round Hermanus and if you prefer you are welcome to store your clubs in our garage.

Payment Policy:
A 50% non-refundable deposit is payable on confirmation of the reservation and the balance is payable on arrival.

Directions to Von Abercron Residence from Cape Town.
Take the N2 from Cape Town towards George. Travel over Sir Lowry`s Pass. Drive straight. After the Houw Hoek Pass turn off to Hermanus on the R43 to your left. You will pass the Kleinmond turn. Pass Fisherhaven, Hawston, Vermont, Onrus and Sandbaai. After Sandbaai traffic lights continue through two more sets of lights. Now you are on the MAIN ROAD. Keep driving until you see THE MARINE HOTEL. At the MARINE HOTEL turn left into LORD ROBERTS STREET. At the end of this street turn left again. Now you are in front of the Hermanus Golf Course turn left again into Fairway Ave. Carry on, this street leads into Fernkloof Drive. Nearly at the end of Hermanus Heights you will see a board on the left sign: VON ABERCRON RESIDENCE
