The Aloe Cottage is situated between Swellendam and De Hoop Nature Reserve. Malgas, with the handdrawn pontoon on the Breede River and Kambati, are all only about 20 minutes’ drive from here.
The cottage is situated on a working farm and from here you can experience all the farm activities: Pick your own eggs from the hen’s nest, feed your leftovers to the pigs, see how the calves and lambs are fed and collect your own fresh milk from the dairy. In front of the cottage is a piece of the conserved “Renosterveld”. Feel free to cycle, jog or take a leisurely walk and see interesting reptiles, birds, animals and plants.
We have a small salt river that is perfect for children to fish in. Many ostriches, sheep with lambs, cows with calves, all in all, a real farm experience!
Clean and spacious with all amenities you’d need.
The cottage has one bedroom with a queen size bed.
