Siblings ready for IMPI Mini

Stellenbosch based Du Plessis siblings, Klara (6), Mika (9) and Josua (10) are counting down the days to the action packed IMPI Mini that will take place at the majestic Wiesenhof Wildlife Park (Stellenbosch) on Saturday, 18 November 2017 and Sunday, 19 November 2017.

“I like to play outside and really enjoy climbing over and under things,” says Klara. “IMPI isn’t difficult.  It’s fun.  I can’t wait to take part with my brother and sister.”

Older sister Mika believes that if her brother can complete the IMPI Mini route, then so can she.  “I would love to beat Josua on the route,” admits Mika.  “I’ll still enjoy the event if I don’t beat him though. The IMPI Mini is a lot of fun. It’s challenging, but I know that I can get through all of the obstacles.  I’ll definitely be inviting some of my friends to take part with me.”

“I can’t wait to take part in the IMPI Mini,” says Josua. “I love obstacle course races.  My father has built an obstacle course for me in our backyard.  I’d definitely like to build some obstacles one day when I’m old enough. I can’t wait to see how many times I’ll be able to complete the IMPI Mini course.”

EVENT INFORMATION:  IMPI Mini

Cost:	R100 per entry for unlimited circuits of the course
Age Limit:	Entrants must be between 6 and 10 years old
Distance:	1km with supervised obstacles
Time:	IMPI Mini runs from 09h00 – 12h00 on Saturday and Sunday

Each IMPI Mini entrant will receive the following with their entry

• A free official printed finishers photo with the IMPI Victory Shield.
• Free SPF40 sunblock courtesy of CANSA Active.
• Finish line refreshment.

There are four categories for adults to choose from when entering the IMPI Challenge:

Categories:	Entry Fee:
IMPI Challenge:  10 km with 18 obstacles (age 18+ years)	R400.00
IMPI Dash:  5 km with 11 obstacles (ages 10+, all adults welcome)	R300.00
IMPI Elite:  18- 20km with 26 tough obstacles (age 18+ years); timed event with prize money	R550.00
IMPI Corporate: the 10km Challenge distance with extra benefits (age 16+ years)	R500.00

Entrants are encouraged to let creativity reign in the best dressed competition!  Competition winners will take home awesome prizes compliments of event sponsors.
